I studied in ap. now in kcet what should I keep for eligibility clause???
Hello there,
In KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), eligibility clause depends on your education and domicile status . Since you studied in Andhra Pradesh (AP) , you may not qualify under Karnataka domicile unless:
-
If you or your parents studied in Karnataka
for
at least 7 years
, you may be eligible under
Clause 'A' or 'B'
(Kannadiga category).
-
If your parents are working in Karnataka for 7+ years
, you might be eligible under
Clause 'C'
.
- If you are an Andhra Pradesh student without Karnataka domicile , you must apply as a non-Karnataka candidate (for B.Tech, admission is through COMEDK or Management quota ).
Check KCET
official brochure
for the exact clause that applies to your situation. If you're unsure, select
"Others"
and verify during document verification.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
