For being eligible for Karnataka 85% state quota, a candidate must follow atleast 1 criteria-
1. passed class 10th or 12th from Karnataka school
2. possess Karnataka state domicile, even though passed 10th and 12th from other state
These 2 criteria are applicable in Government medical college of Karnataka.
For private MBBS colleges of karnataka, some colleges have reservation for karnataka state candidates , and some for minority community.
