I switched my college and university both in second year of my BTech civil engineering will it affect my gate exam or interview or psu recruitment or any other competition exam??
Hey aspirant.
See the switching of ur stream won't be affecting u in written exams and u will get the marks according to ur skills and knowledge but in the interview round u might be facing some problems as the panel would be asking some genuine reason for ur switching. If u failed to prove that u might get negative points but if u managed then it is well and good. For the placements scenario , yes it would affect because every company wants the fresher and if u clashed with some fresher in points then he/she would be given preference.
Hope u got ur point.

What matters at the end of the day is your aggregate in your B.Tech and the way you ace the interview. Rest all do not matter. The College and University that you completed your graduation from will be mentioned in all the Academic documents for both Interview and other purposes. It doesn't matter whether you have switched colleges.
