I there any kind of exam through which a male can work as a doctor or nurse in India army or in BSF or in any kind of India defense system ?????
Prabha, There are 2 ways about it. First way is that you appear for NEET and secure a seat in AFMC and move up the ladder eventually to get posted in the Naval services. DGHS conducts the admissions through All India Counselling. Second way is that you appear for NEET, secure a seat in any Medical College and complete your MBBS and then appear for SSC exams. And then you can get posted as a Doctor in the Navy. This is for MBBS course. At this point in time, there is no provision for Male nurses in the Indian Army. Only female candidates are allowed.
Greetings!
Yes , a male candidate can work as a doctor in Indian Army ; by getting into AFMC , to get into AFMC you need to first of all pass your 12th with bio- science stream and then write neet exam . To be eligible for Neet examination , you need to get at least 50 % aggregate in pcb ( 40% for obc, sc and st category ). If you managed to get score good marks in neet then you will be shortlisted by AFMC . Then the students shortlisted on the basis of neet marks are called for ToELR test in which you are tested for English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning ,and then you have to go for PAT i.e. Psychological Assessment Test ,and then Interview and finally medical Examination which is generally held in the month of June / July at Afmc Pune and then finally students are selected for admission in AFMC and after completing mbbs from AFMC you can practice as a doctor in Indian Army.
