I think B.Tech students are more preferred than BCA students so should I go for BCA MCA or not?
B.Tech students are more prefered than BCA or MCA students, this is not correct. All things being equal, every company hires B.Tech students and BCA students. B.tech students come with a slight advantage that they have slightly more technological or technical expertise whereas a BCA student has more of a software and programming expertise. In fact if you look at teams which software companies form, there will be people with B.Tech and BCA as a part of those teams. Also, for any individual I believe that you should complete your masters to have a proper career foundation.
Now, see, four years of B.tech and 2 years of masters, total 6 years and in case of BCA, BCA (3 years) and MCA (3 years) which means a total 6 years. So, actually when you reach the masters stage you have equalised so it really doesn't matter which route you took. It might be possible that you could not get into an engineering college so how long will you keep waiting. So don't wait for any institution in the world. You should go one step ahead in your career and join any good recognised institution.
