NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Every Government Medical College contributes 15% of its seats to be filled through State Counselling and the rest 85% of the seats are filled through State Counselling. These 15% seats are for Candidates of other States while the 85% of the seats are for local Candidates. Now every State has its own cut offs for every Category. 450 is a less score if you belong to General Category. But if you belong to Reserved Categories, you might have a chance atleast in Round 2 and this is again for States like Manipur, Tamilnady, Karnataka, Assam, etc. We do understand that you are from Manipur. If you look at the selected list for ST Category in NEET 2019 at: https://static.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/Manipur_MBBS_2019_revised_ST_SELECT.pdf , it was just above 400-470. So if you belong to General Category, you will need atleast 500.
Hello dear student,
450 is very less marks if you belong from general category you cannot think of getting into any government Medical College with this less marks. While you can surely apply for the private medical colleges and you can get seat in that easily. and also it will be great if you can share the details like state of your domicile and also your category that ways we will be able to help you more.
Thank you
