I would suggest you not to judge your future potential based on the mere percentage scored by you in your plus 2. Life is long and full of opportunities your marks help you to grab your first job but in the long run its your skills. So please do not compromise on your passion just because you think you have scored less in your plus two.
However, let me tell you that you have scored a decent aggregate percentage to move any career domain including engineering and science field. So choose what you desire not what others are suggesting you.
Your marks will fetch you a seat in any course of your choice.
