I took a gap year after 12 th for preparation of competitive exams, now in 2022 I'm going to join College, I have more than 90% in both of my 10 th and 12 th standard, Will my gap year affect my placements in future, I'm going to choose BE CSE this year but I'm afraid about the placements.

hey there,
in today's competitive world, taking back a year is very common. I mean that your placement may not be affected by this gap but still you need to be answerable for what you were doing in that particular year. that can be done by making a gap certificate that is a legal affidavit type document in which you state that you were not involved in any bad activity and you were preparing for your competitive exam.
