There is no basic difference or any remarkable difference between CSE and CST. CSE is the course of Engineering and CST is a course of science.

if you have interest in software and hardware both then you take CSE computer science engineering

But if you have  interest in software then you take CST course. For making career both courses are very much rewarding. Career options are also great. Placement in both sectors are also good in some sector both courses have a wide opening for higher education and research.

So depending depending on your interest you can choose any of the courses for your future prospect .
