I took PCMB in my class 12. Now I've decided to take CSE engineering. Should I have to learn anything before taking CS.
HELLO FELLA !!
SEE HONESTLY THIER IS NO NEED TO PANIC OF DIDNT HAVE CS IN YOUR +2. MOST OF THE COLLEGES START INITIALLY. LIKE IN MY COLLEGE STARTED TEACHING C++ FROM BEGINNNING !! BUT AS YOU HAVE GAP IN BETWEEN GETTING ADMISSION AND GETTING STARTED FOR COLLEGE SO YOU CAN UTILISE THAT TIME TO LEARN SOMETHING IN ADVANCE. AND ALSO YOU CAN WORK LITTLE HARDER IN FIRST YEAR. COZ CORE SUBJECTS DONT COME IN FIRST YEAR. YOU JUST NEED YOUR +2 KNOWLEDGE OF PCM .
HOPE THIS HELPS !!
As you have mentioned that you have taken pcmb near class 12 and now after completing 12th you are about to of CSE (computer science engineering) and you want to know whether you need to learn something before taking CS branch or not , so on the basis of having a good experience in this field I can die due in a better way which will help you and also remove all the contradictions regarding the CS branch
#To be precise not at all the 1st year is same for all branches you have to understand the basis concepts of 11th and 12 th class and sub like chemistry ,physics ,maths ,CCP in 1st year.
If you have taken any computer subject in your class 11th then it will surely help you in future because those who take any subject related to computer it might be IP (Informatic practice), CS etc Somehow these subject help the candidate because all the basic information which is required for getting good marks for good grades in initial years of engineering are given in the subjects so the basic knowledge which is very important for being a good good engineer in IT field what can be achieved by understanding the concept of these subjects
But it is also a fact that a lot of student either don't take these subjects or they don't have these options in there is school time, so if you so if you don't need to panic because the basic knowledge this object provide can be achieved with a little hard work in your initial college days because these things are not tough in nature so you can easily understand these concepts by your own aur by taking online or offline classes s for s the future studies concerned you will have pass different subjects so so in each and every semester you will see different subjects and you will study all of them some of them will be you are interested updates or some of them will not be the ones which are not interesting in nature
So you don't need to think about anything, most of the things which you will face in CSE or we can say computer science engineering will be new to you and you will have to learn at that time so just focus on whatever you have rather than whatever you could have.
Hope I have resolved your query feel free to ask further queries
It will make no difference if you have one subject more i.e. Biology in your 12 th.
Hope this helps.
