Hello GTron,
The answer to your Question is YES. There are very fewer universities that allow you to be eligible for BCA without a mathematics subject in your 12th, there is a reason for this. Mathematics is very essential, while programming. It is highly required while applying programming concepts to subjects such as Machine Learning, AI, and even in basic programming. There are several algorithms, that require mathematical skills to understand them.
But still, if you can cope up without maths, there is no issue. As mentioned some universities such as:
and many more, which are not as famous as these.
You should keep in mind that BCA is a course, where online learning is more important than teaching by the faculty. You have to practice and keep yourself updated with what is going on in the market. Learning languages is far easier on the Internet than by faculties.
Therefore, you may even join some other college, for some other graduation programme, and then pursue this syllabus as a hobby. Keep in mind, Dream companies such as Google, Microsoft,... don't want a degree rather they focus on skills.
Hope this helps
Regards.
Hello Aspirant!
Eligibility criteria for admission in BCA course depends on college to college. There are several colleges accepting students for degree in BCA without mathematics.
Here are the prime names of those colleges:
~ Lovely Professional university.
~ IGNOU.
~ Miranda University.
NOTE - After opting for BCA, you will have to study maths upto 4th semester. As you are not familiar with maths up to 12th, it would be quite difficult for you to study it.
I can assist you further if you can enlist the colleges you are interested in so that I can help you with its eligibility criterias.
Hope this was helpful.
