Hello,

Regarding the fee structure for MBBS colleges in India, they are different for  various institutes depending upon the ownership that is whether it is private or government owned. Private colleges generally charge higher fees than government colleges.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their compulsory subjects. General candidates must score a minimum of 50%, while for SC/ST candidates it is 40% and for PWD candidates it is 45% to sit for NEET. NEET is the entrance exam which a candidate needs to qualify for admission to MBSS course and also courses like BDS and Ayush.

The admissions are provided for 85% State Quota and 15% All India Quota seats. Candidates whose names do not get listed upon the merit list may opt directly for management quota to get admission into the respective college based upon the rules and regulations and also the vacancy. The admission fees are generally 2 or 3 times higher for management quota students.

Hope this was helpful.

Hi , for government medical colleges fees vary from 10,000 to 50000 per year and for private medical college fees vary from 6 lakhs to 50 lakhs per annum depending on colleges.
In order to get admission in medical field you need to appear in NEET UG exam and then according to the marks scored a merit list is prepared on the basis of which a student gets a seat .
For that you need to register for counseling either state or all India depending on college of your choice and then according to the merit list you will be allocated a college and for admission in he same you can go ahead with as required procedures.
Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.

MBBS admissions in India for the academic session 2020 will begin in July 2020 as the NEET exam has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In India, MBBS admission process is purely based on entrance tests, and direct admission to MBBS course is not possible without entrance exam score. Therefore, MBBS aspirants must clear the MBBS entrance exam to secure admission.

After clearing NEET-UG respective admission authority will conduct a centralized admission process for MBBS admissions. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct an admission process for MBBS course through NEET-UG. Students who cleared the entrance exam and featured in the merit list are eligible to take part in the counselling process. Students need to submit a separate application form for MBBS course to individual institutes.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

The MBBS eligibility criteria for MBBS entrance exams and MBBS admission is as follows –

  • The basic requirement for MBBS admission and entrance exam in India is Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. The students must have studied Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects in Class 12.
  • The lower age limit for MBBS admission and entrance exam in India is 17 years while the upper age limit is 25 years.

MBBS Admission Process through NEET

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the authority for conducting MBBS admissions through NEET-UG. However, MCC conducts MBBS admission process through NEET for 15% AIQ (All India Quota) seats. Students competing for AIQ MBBS admissions are eligible to get admission in any medical college across the country. For 85% of MBBS seats, state governments conduct MBBS admission process.
