I wanna know about the difference between B.E AND B.Tech.?
B.E stands for bachelors of Engineering and B.Tech stands for Bachelors of technology..The main differece is that B.Tech is more skill oriented and B.E is more knowledge oriented.
Students of
B.Tech college's
get more practical coaching compared to the students of B.E College where the theory of the subject is given more importance.
These are the main difference.
Thank you.
Hi aspirant,
BE:
The BE program concentrates more on theoretical knowledge. It is more knowledge oriented. Universities like BITS Pilani, NSUT offer BE.
B.Tech:
The B.Tech program is more of a practical oriented course. it is more application of engineering. Universities like IITs offer B.Tech.
In the end, it depends on the reputation of the college.
All the best
B. E. is Bachelor of Engineering and B. Tech is Bachelor of Technology, as the name suggest B. Tech is more practical and experiment oriented as compared to the B. E. which is more theoretical. B. Tech focuses more on skills as compared to B. E. Moreover B. E. and B. Tech is quite similar it totally depends upon the institute to offer course.
Hello deva dharshini,
The name might be the different but the two words come to the same category
B.E - bachelor of engineering
B.tech - bachelor of technology
The word are different but the same background study will be provided where as you want
The name usually changes as per the university comfort
All the best
Hi Deva,
There is no difference between these two degrees in terms of value and future job prospects. Let's go back to the history of Indian education system. After independence, there were universities which provide different degrees in arts, science, commerce and engineering as well and some of the universities which provide dedicated engineering degrees.
Universities that provide other degrees along with engineering called their engineering degrees B.E (bachelor of engineering) and those universities having dedicated engineering degrees only called their engineering degrees B.tech (bachelor of technology).
IITs offer B.Tech degrees because they were among the first institutes established exclusively for engineering education.
No degree, B.E or B.Tech is superior to other. Both of them having similar scope and future.
Good luck!
Hello Aspirant,
Generally, Btech is for Engineering and BED is for Teaching field,
Key Difference between BE and B.Tech
- The most obvious difference between the two is that BE is a Bachelor of Engineering and B Tech is a Bachelor of Technology.
- The course materials, as well as the orientation of these programs, are quite dissimilar.
- While BE is data orientated, B.Tech is skill orientated. BE is more of a study based on theory and B.Tech is more of application engineering.
I hope it helps you.
