Many prestigious universities in India offer candidates the LLB, a three-year Bachelor of Law degree.
The following are the requirements for enrollment in three-year LLB programmes as stated by BCI:
- To enroll in an LLB programme, candidates must be graduates, that is, they must have completed a bachelor's degree programme of three or four years in length in any topic or area.
- In addition, some universities set a minimum percentage standard that applicants must meet in order to enrol in the three-year LLB programme they offer. The (minimum) percentage required for candidates in the General category is from 45 to 55 percent, while that for applicants in the SC/ST category goes from 35 to 45 percent.
Entrance exam are DU LLB Entrance Exam, Allahabad University LAT Exam, Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law, Punjab University LLB Entrance Exam, Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test, Law School Admission Test India, Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test and BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test
