Vit is VELLORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. It also has a seperate exam VITEEE.

For admission 2021:

Candidates were able to fill the application form through online mode. VITEEE 2021 registration form was made available from 30th November 2020. The last date to submit application form for VITEEE 2021 through any medium was till 21st May 2021.

Qualification criteria: Passed 10+2 in PCM with 60% marks

Fee Structure: Rs 7,83,000/- approx

Different streams offered in BTech::

• CSE,
• Computer Science & Business Systems,
• Biotechnology,
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
• Data Sciences,
• Electronics & Communication Engineering,
• Mechanical Engineering, etc.
• The major specializations such as Computer Science, Mechanical and Electronics & Communication also  include further specializationsin each field.

Eligibility criteria for VITEEE:

1. Candidate must be a Indian National / NRI/ PIO/ OCI holder.
2. Minimum marks obtained must be 60% in PCM/PCBM class 12 or equivalent exam.
3. DOB on or after July 1, 1999.

Fill the application form online.

Pay the application fee of INR 1100

Take the printout of the application form and send it with the required documents to the university address through post.

Required documents::(after qualifying VITEEE)

1. Rank card, Admit card & Counselling letter of VITEEE
2. Class Xth certificate in support of Date of Birth
3. Marks sheet of qualifying examination
4. Community/caste & Domicile certificate, if applicable
5. Demand Draft in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore.(application fee)
