First talking in relation to St.Xaviers college - St. Xaviers college has an entrance exam to be given besides your HSC exam i.e Common entrance test. This year it will be conducted on 2nd june tentatively and application for the same will start from 1st may to 31st may .It is held once in a year. The test will be for 1 hour 45 minutes . The final results will be dependent on your HSC score + written test + personal interview.The cut offs are decided on the basis of 60% in common entrance test + minimum 40% in HSC and personal interview score.Last year the approx cut off was around 85-92% for general category and 73-85% for christian category.
