Tamil Nadu has a lot of Enineering caolleges, but most of their admissions are through Tamil Nadu state counselling. Tamil Nadu also has some deemed universities, that take admissions through entrance exams. They are,

1. VIT - VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam)

2. SRM - SRMJEE (SRM Joint Entrance Exam)

3. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - AEEE (Amrita Entrance Exam - Engineering)

4. Sathyabama University - SAEEE (Sathyabama All India Entrance Exam)

5. B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology - CIEAT (Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test)

6. Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology - VTUEEE ( Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Exam)

Some other universities like SASTRA consider the score of JEE Mains and board marks.
