For Admission for b.tech Computer science you will have to appear for engineering entrance examinations and score the cutoff to get admitted in Btech CSE.

• JEE Mains & Advanced : This the exam consudected by NTA for admissions in IITs / NITs. Cutoff for CSE in JEE mains is : try to score under 15000 (rank all india) - for general category. For Jee advanced try to get a rank under 1000-1500 to get CSE in top IITs.

• BITSAT : This is a entrance exam for getting admitted to BITS. BITS, Birla Institute of Science and Technology is a major name in the top college list out of IIT/NIT/IIIT brand name. It is a private college who has very nice set its foot onto the top colleges in India.

There are three branches of BITS:

1) Pilani, Rajasthan : Main campus CSE Cutoff marks : 378/450

2) Goa CSE Cutoff : 347/450

3) Hyderabad CSE Cutoff : 334/450

All these three branches have good infrastructure and BITS is ahead in race from many IITs and NITs.

• Manipal University, Manipal :  For this college you need to appear for MU-OET. This is also a quite promising college. The manipal branch is worth studying. This is the college from which the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella studied.

• MHT-CET : This is the state entrance exam for Maharastra state. There are several good colleges in this exam. There are many good colleges in pune who select its a=candidates through this exam.

• Jadavpur University :  This is a quitr good and old university in kolkata, west bengal. it is really a good colleges which offer quite a good placements. Placements at this colleges at quite at par with few NITs and even better than many newer NITs. The entrance exam to be appeared is WBJEE.

Cutoff of Jadavpur University (CSE): Try to score under 150 rank.

• Comed-K : This is the entrance exam for private engineering colleges in karnataka. Many good colleges take through this exam and few to be named are: RVCE, MSRIT, BMSIT, NIE Mysore. etc.

Try to score under 30,000 rank you will get CSE in some college or other!
