The institute conducts an entrance exam 'Lovely Professional University National eligibility and Scholarship test' for admissions in the engineering courses. It is conducted through an online mode with a total of 400 marks. There were two phases to the registration process, Phase-I ( October 9, 2018- January 20, 2019) and Phase-II ( January 21, 2019- March 31, 2019). The slot booking period was the 1st week of December and the 1st week of March. Also, the entrance exam will be conducted from April 5 to 30, 2019, which will be followed by the counselling rounds. Eligibility criteria for LPUNEST 2019: 1. Indian nationality 2. Academic details- The candidate must have completed his/her final examination of 10+2 or should be appearing in 2019, from any institution recognised by COBSE, New Delhi or any other concerned apex body. 3. Marks required- 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 in Physics, Mathematics and English. For more than 90% secured in the qualifying exams, the candidate will not have to meet LPUNEST and JEE Main qualification criteria. He/she can apply for direct admissions. 4.
