Yes it's possible to get admission in second year before that complete your  1st year then for admission in 2nd year you have to go through with the procedure as university Requires ,in which you wanted to pursue. But make sure you will collect all the leading documents  from college.

It's not possible in India to take admissions in even semester.



You can join in some colleges by Lateral entry scheme by following  their selection process,



IIITH provides lateral entry after 2nr year i. e after 4th semester, you have to give the Lateral entrance test.
