i want admisson in management seat in any government medical college in rajasthan in 1 round the management quota closed just 320 seats before me i want to question the this year nearly 137 nri seats in these govenrment college are vacant will they convert to management seat in round 2
Hello Charan,
NRI seats are to be filled by candidates whose are NRI's or their parents are NRI's or NRI Sponser who is first degree blood relation as per the rules given by the State Government.
NRI seats in Government Colleges and Deemed Universities can be filled by NEET UG Counselling but NRI quota seats in Private Medical Colleges needed to be filled at State Level only. There are nearly 212+ NRI seats available in varies Government Medical Colleges and Government Medical Colleges tuned by Societies of State Government in Rajsthan.
As per the Counselling board, NRI seats can be applied by candidates of other States also. But in 2018 of Rajasthan NEET Counselling 29 NRI seats after Round 1 were converted into General Seats.
According to Rajasthan NEET 2019 the NRI seats left vacant after Mop-up round were supposed to be filled by College level Mop-up round as per the guidelines given in the the Brochure of Rajasthan NEET Counselling.
So, there is probability of converting NRI seats to general or open seats where other State candidates can also fill as it is based on All India Merit list or may be asked to fill up the vacanct seats by College level Mop-up round and probability of converting NRI seats into Management seats are less.
