Hello Asirant,
To become a space scientist, you have to study science and mathematics, in order to pursue your passion. A career in space science could be achieved by means of both pure sciences to even engineering disciplines. India’s premier agency – ISRO recruits both scientists (usually with PhD in astronomy, physics, mathematics) to engineers (mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science).
The basis for space science is deeply entrenched in physics and mathematics and the requirements for the various courses would also require a candidate to be truly exceptional in these domains.
In intermediate, you will have to take up Science as a Stream, thus PCM would be the appropriate choice for you.
