Hi Manikanta

If you want to prepare for civil services and want to become a civil servant then BA will definitely help you instead of B.sc .

As a Ba student you will get
a lot of benefit in the civil services exams as in ba you will have subjects like History,
Geography, Polity, Economics and these
are the subjects which
you will be asked in the civil services exams and so you will have a good
chance and probability to be successful
at civil services examinations.

I hope that it helps you

Thankyou

Well joining civil services is a dream for millions and a proper strategy is required to crack the civil service exam. now coming to your question BA versus BSc, iflook at the syllabus of civil service exam then there are optional which you can choose from subjects in in humanities or science or engineering and other subjects as well so it depends upon your interest rather than just doing at degree without interest doesn't mean anything but if you are very much passionate then you can choose bachelor of arts because it will not be much time demanding and you can give your time to your studies but at the same time if you choose bachelor of science then there will be some safe side if in future you wish to change your goal then there can be other opportunities to you as well so the final decision is in your hands but if you want to play safe then BSc is good and if you are well committed and equally interested in both the subjects then go for bachelor of arts

In summary if you are interested in any one of them then choose that but if you don't have interest or equal interest in both of them and want to play safe then go for bachelor of science.
