Hello Tushar,
First of all, you have to get SPL(Student Pilot Licence), then PPL(Private Pilot Licence) and after that CPL(Commercial Pilot Licence) with Multi Engine Instrument Rating. This will cost you around INR 30-40 on an average. This doesn't include the accomodations , travelling expense and others.
Better is to do IIT in Aerospace Engineering and you will be getting further golden chance.
Thank you.
Don’t go, unless Ambani is your surname.
Complete training costs abroad, with the charges for visa, travel, food and accommodation, license conversion is around Rs.90Lakh
People are stupid to think that training in abroad is cheaper and better. Yes training alone is cheaper, but why act so silly and ignore other heavy charges like visa or travel. Let me tell you license conversion alone costs Rs.5 Lakh. Staying at USA for two years can cost upto Rs.24 Lakh! It isn't a joke, but a true fact.
Do your CPL in India and let your airline decise the country for further training. Compararive CPL from India and further training will be at Rs.65 lakh while doing it abroad will be Rs.90Lakh!
Affording a CPL course is not easy. Saving money properly is the only way
If you are an Indian, you can take up the pilot course in India itself.
The cost of the training is basically the same. It would cost you around 30 lacs INR.
Flying schools abroad charge less but after undergoing training there, after you come to India, you will have to convert your license so you'll have spend a few lacs for that, so it's the same cost.
There are some great flying schools in India like IGRUA, CAE, Carver Aviation, BFC, MPFC, AAA, Chimes Aviation.
All the the best for your training.
