Medical schools in the USA, Australia, Canada and the Caribbean Islands use the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) for admission. Candidates interested to pursue a MD degree in the US or Canada are required to take the standardised MCAT 2018. The test aims to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge, understanding of scientific concepts and principles pursuing education in medicine. The registration for MCAT 2018 can only be done online. The process begins by the candidate creating an AAMC account. An AAMC account can be created by appearing the candidates personal details  like email, full name and gender. That done, the aspirant may next sign in to the their accounts using the User ID and password. The same login credentials can also be used to maintain the MCAT account for any other correspondence or getting MCAT related information from AAMC. Once the aspirant submits the online registration form, the candidate will receive an email confirmation which will have the complete details of the exam. Aspirants are recommended to do the MCAT 2018 registration at least 60 days before to the chosen exam date.

The duration of MCAT 2018 will be a total of 7 hours and 27 minutes. The total actual exam time will be of 6 hours 15 minutes (approx) duration. The computer-based test consists of the following four main sections:

• Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behaviour
