Hello,

If you want to become an IAS officer then you have to study lots. Actually not that much lots but yes your knowledge and memories are matter. Which subject you will choose it's not matter. Like science students also be an IAS officer, a doctor an IAS officer, an engineer also.. So you are doing commerce in 12tg which is good. Just note that know the entrance examination syllabus.

For IAS officer you have to give CSE UPSC examination. You have to download the full syllabus. In this syllabus you have to study about

  • General knowledge
  • Current affairs
  • History
  • Geography
  • Sociology
  • Psychology
  • Civil engineering
  • Commerce and accountant
  • Mathematics
  • Zoology
  • Public administration
  • Medical science
  • Chemistry etc

So you have to gain knowledge in every department. And they are asking mainly from your studying but they can ask you from anything. That's why you have to study all of this thing's.

After completing 12th you can pursue your honours in BCOM. Otherwise you can study law or any subject but you have to prepare yourself for entrance examination. If you are qualified the prelim and mains examination then you will go for interview. After qualifying the interview you go for 2 years training. Then you will be an IAS officer.

All the best.
