Rahul, there are quite a few Entrance examinations for studying MBA in India. They are:
CAT: CAT is an online examination of 3 hours duration. To be eligible for CAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.
MAT: To be eligible for MAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline. There is no minimum aggregate criteria.
IIFT: To be eligible for IIFT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.
SNAP: To be eligible for SNAP, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.
NMAT: To be eligible for NMAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years work experience are preferred.
CMAT: To be eligible for CMAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline. There is no minimum aggregate criteria.

For applicants wishing to pursue an MBA, there are many entrance exams that they can appear for. The most common of these tests include:-
- CAT is the most common entrance exam conducted in India for MBA aspirants. It's the entrance exam one needs to take to get an admission into the IIMs, the top business schools in India. Many Colleges consider the score of CAT when granting admissions.
- GMAT is a global level exam and over 3000 colleges accept the score of this examination throughout 110 countries.
- ATMA is a national level test which is accepted by over 600 business Institutes in India including IIMs, NMIMS, SP Jain etc.
- CMAT is conducted by the AICTE for MBA in India and is held twice every year. Candidates can choose the score that is higher among both of these attempts.
- MAT is another entrance exam conducted by CMS or Centre for Management Services. It can be attempted both online and offline and is relatively new as compared to other exams.
Apart from these examinations, there are many other University level examinations conducted by said Universities to grant admissions to candidates on their own terms. These include IIFT, MICAT, NMAT, SNAP, IBSAT, IRM-Jaipur etc.
