The college doesn't provide u any scholarship if you are from other state if you belong to Tamilnadu and if u are a topper then u can expect,
U have to take loan and u have to pay, But most preferable thing is go for the state colleges they provide u reimbursement. So with low fees u can complete ur btech.

If you are from Tamil Medium Government school and if you are one of the district topper VIT will take care all of your expenses which includes Academic fees,Hostel Fees,Placement Fees etc etc. It called as STARS Quota its only for Tamilnadu Tamil medium school peoples.They will hire 1 guy and 1 girl from each district which means total 30 guys and 30 females students.
So if you are not from TN. Then
Apart From Loan. There are scholarships offer available such as
1)If you secure 8pointer (8CGPA) and your attendance also above 75% then they will provide you 10k Scholarship every year.
2) If you secure 100% attendance during ODD semester they will offer you 1K scholarship.
