Bishop Heber College offers admission to MBA programmes on the basis of entrance test conducted by Anna University (TANCET) or any other entrance exam which is recognized by the competent authorities.

You will have to appear and qualify the TANCET exam for admission to MBA Programmes.

TANCET
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted by Anna University for admission to postgraduate courses in various colleges/institutes located in Tamil Nadu. TANCET is a state level entrance examination.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can only appear for the entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria of TANCET MBA is as follows

-Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree to be eligible for admission.
-Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored minimum 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination and candidates belonging to the reserved categories should have scored a minimum of 45 percent marks to apply for the TANCET exam.
The Bachelor’s degree prescribed by Anna University are
10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or
10+2+3/4 years pattern
B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm
10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.

Exam Pattern of TANCET MBA

Exam is conducted in Offline mode and duration of the exam is two hours. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
One mark will be awarded to candidates for every correct answer and for each negative answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

TANCET Application Form
The application form can be filled in online mode only. Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 500 and for ST/SC/SCA Category, application fee is Rs. 250.

TANCET 2019 application forms are expected to be available from 2 April 2019 and TANCET MBA Exam is expected to be conducted on 19 May, 2019.
