Dear aspirant,

In NEET 2021 you can apply for EWS category if you fulfil the EWS criteria :

• The salary of your family must be less than 8 lakh per year
• If you have agricultural land then it must be less than 5 acres
• If you have residential flat then it must be less than 1000 sq. Ft  Or
• Residential plot area should be less than 100 yards sq ( for notified municipal sector) or less than 200 yards ( non-notified municipal sectors)

So if you have EWS certificate fulfilling these criteria then you can apply for " General-EWS " category in NEET 2021 form.

But then you will not be able to apply through OBC category because EWS category is for general category students who are economically weaker.

EWS have benefit over OBC because it's cut off was lower than the OBC cutoff.

There are around 4000 government seats all over India under EWS category.
