Hello Aman,

To apply for an OBC certificate in Maharashtra without the 1967 proof or your father's LC, follow these steps:

  1. Alternative Documents : Submit other proofs like your father's or grandfather's caste certificate, old voter lists, or village records showing your family's caste.

  2. Non-Availability Certificate (NAC) : If your father's LC is unavailable, get a NAC from his school.

  3. Affidavit : Provide an affidavit from your father stating the OBC status if required.

  4. Local Tehsil/Taluka Office : Submit your application with alternative documents at the local office.

  5. Consult a Lawyer : Seek help from a lawyer for specific guidance or document formats.

This should help you apply successfully despite the missing documents.

Hello,

For obtaining the OBC caste certificate in Maharashtra, without a 1967 proof and Father's LC, you can follow these steps.

Alternate Documents: In lieu of 1967 proof, attach other support documents such as the caste certificates of any family member such as parents, siblings, and relatives; School or college records that mention caste; Affidavits of village authorities.

Affidavit for Father's LC: In case you do not have the LC of your father, then submit an affidavit where you mention the reason for unavailability. Attach his available identity and address proofs.

Submit an Application: Approach the local Tehsil or an online portal like Mahacaste. Submit the application with all the required documents including proof of residence, income certificate, ID proofs, and affidavits.

Verification Process: The authorities may verify your details through local inquiries or records. There is a need to have regular follow-up in this case.

This process varies in every district, so seek specific rules or requirements from the local authorities.
