I want to apply in FMS Delhi for MBA 2019-21 and I am also appearing for CAT 2018 & admissions at FMS starts before CAT exam. How to apply
Admission in FMS Delhi for 2019-21 will commence only after CAT'18 is conducted because FMS considers score of CAT. So you need not worry, start working for CAT'18 with full enthusiasm and you shall be able to make it.
Few pointers:
1.) FMS considers no less than 99 percentile for general category, it might go up to 97 percentile for other categories but end up finally selecting students with 98+ percentile only. You need to outsmart everything to get admitted to FMS and other premium B-Schools.
2.) Start giving a lot of mock tests (online) for individual sections as well as complete aptitude test, in the given time frame to :
a.) accustom yourself
b.) Solve different questions pertaining to a single concept
c.) Keep a track of how much time you are devoting to a single concept and work upon your timing
d.) Gauge for what concepts you need to polish your understanding
3.) Pay attention to every section VARC, DILR, QA, you can do this via your own notes or some good books like that of "How to Prepare for CAT by Arun Sharma" for all the sections.
4.) Don't miss out on reading newspapers, esp. editorials. These will give u a good idea of what's happening plus a practice for RC.
5.) Also for RC do not forget to read articles or solve RCs of all the categories like science, fiction, history, etc.
Hope this helps!!
All the best!!
