Change of exam centre is unfortunately not possible at this stage. You should have read the form carefully before mentioning your exam centre. At this stage, the best piece of advice would be that you plan your travel well in advance so that last minute glitches do not ruin your entrance test.

It's not possible to change your test centre for CAT 2016 as mentioned in point 13 of instructions on the Admit Card. And it was mentioned in registration guide that you may be allotted centre at one of the 4 preferences or in minute case, any other city. So nothing can be done in that situations.

Generally, when an important exam is conducted at such a huge mass level, this policy of not changing is followed by the conducting authorities to avoid processing huge number of requests and also the last minute confusion/controversies.It becomes very complex for them in processing your results as well.

So my advice is to travel even if it is far away and have an adequate itinery planned along with your parents to avoid any last minute hassle.

You mean change the exam centre for CAT exam most probably you can't do it. You could have done it when you were given option to edit your form but you can't do it now.



Still you can right a mail on the official CAT email id stating your problem and mentioning all the details about your application form. Mention your current location and the location you want to give exam. There is a very slight probability that your centre will change still you can give it a try. Make sure you do it as soon as possible because once your admit card is relaesed then there will be no chance of getting your email request approved.



If I am not wrong then mostly your admit card will be released by 26th October so I will recommend to do this email work by tomorrow otherwise there won't be any chance of change in centre.
