If we are talking about Institute of Chemical Technology . It was established in 1933 as a part of the University of Bombay. The Institute started functioning as University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) but later got the status of a Deemed to be University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). ICT Mumbai got transformed into University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT) on 26th January, 2002. The institute is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute imparts undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in several disciplines.
They are offers 3 streams such as Engineering ,Sciences and Pharmacy with lots of specialization .Every course admission process is different it is depends upon the course .
he institute offers admission to undergraduate courses based on MHT CET/JEE Main scores, postgraduate courses based on GATE/GPAT scores, M.Sc courses based on the scores of the written conducted by the institute. ICT Mumbai also offers admission to doctoral programmes based on the scores of the written test and interview conducted by the authority.
