Dear Aspirants,

I will provide a short description of cyber security. B.Tech cyber security An Engineering program which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like Programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. Some institutes provide cyber security as a minor paper with computer science engineering.

Following Institutes are providing B.Tech Cyber security course.

3) Marvadi University.

4) PSG Institute of Technology

5) CT University

hello anmol sharma,

let me give you the explained answer for this,

ethical hacking courses:

most of the students who want to be a hacker are thinking that CS or IT are the only courses to be a hacker.that's not truth.there are many other courses like,

  • b.tech  cyber security and forensic
  • b.sc networking and  security
  • b.tech IT and cyber security
  • B.E cse
  • CEH-certified ethical hacking course
  • b.tech it

so , you can take any courses(cs or IT) on mentioned above.but you need some sort of skills set, they are:

skills required-

  • coding experience with C,C++,PYTHON and RUBY(java is optional )
  • knowledge in web applications (microsoft. net and PHP) and assembly language
  • experience with basic networking devices like switches, routers and bridges.etc.,
  • need a working experience with fire walls(http,ip and tcp protocols knowledge)
  • need flexibility and resources

jobs and career opportunities in this field:

  • system administrator
  • secrity anayst
  • security programmer
  • encryption specialist
  • system auditor
  • system architech
  • system engineer
  • network engineer

above are the needed information apart from hacker.now let's get into your thing,to be a hacker there is three ways

  • certified and ethical
  • non certified and ethical
  • hacking only no ethical

in this  categories, first one will allow you to learn little bit and explore more.second one will allow you to learn more and more  & discover new things.third one will not be useful for society and not good also.

learning and practicing wont be useful and not gonna work for hacker.keen interest will only keep a hacker to move on.so be sure of your resources.if you're not having any skill set of above, try to develop/improve them.

as i said already, you can graduate from any courses of above.all you need to do is

  • getting updated with resources/technology/information
  • vulnerability scaning(always try to do something new)
  • exploitation

there are many engineering colleges available in delhi(for cse and it).to know more, please refer this link:

all the best!

I Hope this information will be useful to you.

if you need additional information, let us know to help you.

Thank you!!!:)

Well I believe a CS degree gives you more leverage to diverge in your future career. Therefore a B.Tech in CS is a better choice. If your choice changes in the future you can still find plenty of opportunities with a CS degree

Hello anmol.

I must say that the field you have chosen, hacking,is one of the most interesting fields. It's not about whether you go with cs or IT but what matters is that you have to learn programming at a very good level.Well, according to me ,CS would be a better option to take as in CS , you'll learn better programming skills. You need to get the certified ethical hacking course to complete your hacking course legally. So yes,you should definitely go to Btech with CS.Hope that helps.

Good Luck!
