I want to be an urban planner but i am also preparing for NATA so now what can i do ??? plzzz tell me
See one option is to take BPlan and then MPlan. Bachelor's in Planning is offered at many institutes - famous are SPAs. JEE Main is one option to take B.Planning. NATA is just for Architecture. So I would advise to apply for JEE Main Paper 2 and see if you can get into planning at one of the SPAs or NITs that offer the course.
All the best!
hi baldev ,
to answer this question you first need to know the basic and very clear difference between an architect (need to write NAT for this)and an urban planner.
Architects and urban planners both play a part in determining how a community will look, but the specific focus of their work is different. While architects design buildings, urban planners determine where buildings will go and how land will be used to meet community needs.
so depending on your interest of designing the buildings or designing how the land can efficiently be used you can choose your path .
all the best
