I want to became an astrophysicist and currently in high school would you plz suggest me what should I do either bsc in physics hon. or applied physics to chase my goal.....and which country is best and affordable for me..................
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Once you graduate from high school, you should pursue a bachelor's degree in physics.
It is not recommended to get a bachelor's degree in astrophysics at this time.
This is due to the fact that when you study physics and mathematics in your bachelor's degree programme, the fundamentals of astrophysics will be established.
Try to find solutions to as many issues as you can.
During this three- to four-year programme, you will improve your understanding of physics.
Begin reading astrophysics alongside your other subjects, at first as a pastime.
You will then begin to realise how essential physics is in your life.
Astrophysics cannot exist without the existence of physics.
I believe that you can find an excellent college to study astrophysics almost everywhere.
However, there are a number of factors to consider:-
Are you able to afford to study there?,
Is it worth your time to go, or are you simply wasting your time?,
Future possibilities as a worker or as a researcher, depending on your preferences.
All of the best universities in the United States, including as Harvard, Caltech, Princeton, MIT, and others, offer outstanding astrophysics departments.
If you wish to learn about Europe, there are many universities in England that may help you. These include Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, and Liverpool.
In Germany, you have all of the Max Planck Institutes, as well as universities such as LMU, Heidelberg, Cologne, Bonn, and others. In addition, you have the European Space Agency (ESA).
The city of Leiden in the Netherlands is a nice location to be.
There are a plethora of others all across Europe as well (although I have no first- or second-hand knowledge with any of them).
Furthermore, Australia is home to several outstanding educational institutions, like the Melbourne University, the Sydney University, and the Monash University, among others.
In India, you have institutions such as TIFR, IUCAA, NCRA, RRI, IISc, IIA, and HRI, all of which are excellent (search on internet for the full names of these institutes).
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
