Hi there.
After passing the Civil Services Exam, one can become an IAS Officer. The Union Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting the examination. One might strive to get hired as an Indian Administrative Service Officer after taking the IAS Exam and earning the necessary rank.
You must pass the UPSC civil services test in order to become an IAS officer. Even though it's one of the hardest tests in India, it's not impossible to pass. There are three phases to the civil service examination, and those who fail each step are disqualified:
Preliminaries: Two MCQ exams (General Studies, CSAT)
Nine theory papers for the mains (Essay, Two Language, Four General Studies, and Two Optional Papers)
Interview - personality assessment
When candidates who pass the UPSC IAS Exam enroll in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) for basic training, they receive their first taste of life as an IAS officer.
