I want to become a car designer? Can i take an industrial design or product design in UG and then pursue my transportation design in PG?

The world is of all-rounders. While it is a good thing to look for specialisations, most of the success stories of designers have witnessed them switching and acing fortes. I'd strongly recommend you to look for B.Des programme in Interdisciplinary Design, where you will be able to concentrate on various aspects of design, rather than restricting to just one specialisation.
B.Des in Interdisciplinary Design at JK Lakshmipat University is one programme, led by A. Balasubramaniam, one of the most prominent designers of India.
JK Lakshmipat University is the philanthropic initiative of the 125-year-old JK Organisation. You can go through their information at www.jklu.edu.in and apply for their entrance exam.

Ramesh! I would like your profession to become car designer and industrial designer but I have sorry to say their is less college of Ug provide that course so I would like to suggest you are going for mechanical college and that is the best option.

Take mechanical engineering or automobile engineering in ug
And then go for machine design in pg.
As simple as that.
Nowadays using in built program software you have to do design on computer only any part of any machine.
