I want to become a cinematographer, but my parents are saying that those things are for part time, not a legit career. How do I convince them?

Dear aspirant,

What you're going through is a common phase in the lives of many students. If you really are passionate about cinematography, then you should talk to your parents about what your plan is. Tell them some examples of people who are successful cinematographers now and what they did to get where they are.

Remember, your parents are not against you, they just want you to have the best. So try and cooperate with them, not rebel against them.

Hope this helps!

Good luck!
