You would require MBA degree or PGDM in Marketing from top 40 Colleges to become successful Manager into Marketing and subsidiary fields.
You can appear for CAT exam as well as exams like MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ ATMA/ SNAP/ MHCET to target top colleges.

To become a marketing manager you will have to earn a basic degree of graduation and a good experience of in marketing profile. Also the other way is getting a master degree in management and applying in good packages at a fresher level.
You can do MBA in marketing specialization.
In college you can take any stream as such there is no compulsory requirement in graduation.
But in case you want to relate then you can choose marketing, commerce or business related subjects.
Then after you complete you graduation give management entrances like CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT etc and get into top management colleges and therefore later get a good placement and package depending upon your knowledge and calibre.
