I want to become an IAS so which course is adapted to this catagory
In order to become an IAS officer, you need to appear for UPSC exam, and qualify the same, the posts are assigned according to the rank obtained by the candidates against their respective category, nevertheless the eligibility criteria as laid out by UPSC simply states that candidates need to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, even final year students are eligible to apply on provisional basis, if your question is directed towards the fact that which course is more suited keeping in mind the syllabus portion, then graduation in subjects like Political Science, Public Administration, Geography, Economy, Law, History etc help in the sense that it overlaps considerably with GS and Optional subjects, but other than this you should remember that you can appear for UPSC with graduation in any discipline as per your preference, if you look at past year toppers they come from diverse backgrounds as that of medical, engineering, science, commerce etc.
