Dear Aspirant,
the height requirement to become a IPS officer, for a male candidate is 165cm tall, along with chest measurement of 84 cm with 5 cm expansion, and 6/9 distant vision. However, reserved candidates are allowed to be of 5cm shorter.
Hi Aspirant,
As per the rule the height required for the general candidate is 165 cm tall. However for reserved category they are allowed to be shorter by 5 cm in height and the same around the chest.Similarly you can see that for general category you need to be around 84 cm around chest.
Hope it helps!!
