I want to become an petroleum engineer but I don't have much money for getting in a coaching and crack JEE advanced so so I decided to crack JEE mains and go for BTech chemical engineering and after that m tech in petroleum engineering so tell me is this correct or not for me now?

Definitely you must prepare for JEE Mains, but also do give effort to feat JEE Advanced. IIT ISM Dhanbad is by far the best Institute for Petroleum Engineering in India for B.Tech.
