In order to become scientist one must have a good hold of his subject of interest and knowledge of practical skills.

You can choose can field of your choice and do Bsc/Msc or Btech/Mtech or whatever your field is do higher education in that field.

Make surw you have internships, extra courses and research papers in order to get best university in india or in abroad.

Also try to get admission into the best college like IITs, IISC, IISER so that you have research environment around you.
