I want to become finance manager...for that I need to do MBA in finance. So I want to ask that does MBA in finance includes maths as a subject? Which type of B.com I need to do for MBA in finance?
Hello Aspirant,
Mathematics is not a necessary subject to pursue MBA in finance, you'll just need a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55%.
But for a finance manager you must understand the basics of accounting, statistics and mathematics. You'll surely need strong grip at mathematics in entrance exam for getting admission in MBA , but as ar as MBA itself is concerned you're good to go .
And about the BCom course you should choose, though you can choose anyone normal degree or hons degree, but my suggestion would be go for hons since its value is much more than the normal degree.
Hope this Helps!
All the Best!
Hello,
There is no Maths subject in MBA Finance. The subjects for MBA Finance are Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Markets. Maths subject is not there.
You should pursue a B.Com Finance course to become Finance Manager because this course includes important knowledge which will help you in your finance manager career. The subjects in B.com Finance are Principles of Financial Planning, Economics, Mirco and Macro Economics, Money and Banking Systems and Trade. So, this will help you further.
The eligibility for pursuing this course is a candidate must score at least 50% aggregated marks in class 12th from a recognised board.
