To become an IAS officer, you have to qualify in the civil services examination conducted by the union public service commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted every year and recruits candidates to IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and so many more of such esteemed credentials. Applications are invited in the beginning of every year (Jan - Feb). There would be a preliminary examination, main examination and an interview. The exam format is as follows
100 questions worth a total of 200 marks are asked from the subjects history, polity, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, economy, current affairs
80 questions worth 200 marks are asked from the subjects mathematics, logical reasoning, reading comprehension etc.
You having a background in science and a graduation in History could only help you in pursuing IAS

There is no problem if you are from Science background and you want to become an IAS officer. Anyone from any stream can apply for UPSC providing he/she has completed from graduation from a recognised education board.
Now, as you said you want to do graduation with History then again it will not create any problem for you, infact it will be more beneficial for you if you take History as the optional subject in UPSC.
So yes, you can easily do what you are planning for.
