JEE Mains is the entrance examination for admission to most Engineering colleges across India including the IITs, NITs and GFTIs. For admission to IITs, NITs and GFTIs, you need to appear for JEE Advanced. Now, once you appear for JEE, based on your marks and rank in the merit list, you can take admission in your desired branch. JEE is just one of the entrance examinations, There are other exams as well like BITSAT, WBJEE, etc. Please check our page for various entrance examinations at: https://engineering.careers360.com/exams

Hello there!

Greetings!

It's quite simple,  after passing your 12th you need to give entrance examination to get into good engineering colleges after clearing the entrance you can get a seat in a engineering college and you can opt for computer science branch.  You can give entrance exams like JEE , WBJEE, VITEEE,  BITSAT etc for getting into engineering colleges.  Even if you fail to clear these entrance exams,  even then you can get a seat in some of the private engineering  colleges which provide admission on the basis of class 12th % , so try to get good % in 12th , better in 90+%.

thankyou
