I want to do BFIA after class 12. Is it necessary to join the coaching for clearing DU JAT

It depends on your capability & skill. The taste is based on the mathematical ability, English, General Awareness and Reasoning.

Quantitative Ability
This section of the exam is the test of  the students majorly on the mathematical knowledge of Class 11 and Class 12. Preparation of topics like Relations and Functions, 3-D Geometry and Permutations and Combinations questions etc.

Reasoning and Analytical Ability
this section have the questions on bar-graph analysis and data interpretation.
English
It will consist of questions based on comprehension, idioms and vocabulary that students must achieve by incessant practice.
General Awareness
In this section, you can expect questions based on products and their companies, National and International banks and days of national importance.

If I want admission for bms course, so it totally depend on my du jat score or it counts 12th marks also
