Hello Rohit,

In order to be able to secure an admission in Banaras Hindu University for the course of B.SC Hons., you will have to appear for the BHU University Entrance Test [BHU-UET]. The applications for the exam will be released online starting from 10th February, 2019.

The scope that the degree holds depends entirely on the Hons. subject that you choose. You can always go for a master's degree in the same subject, to enter the feild of research. This holds good for all subjects. However, there are also subject specific career opporutnities, that you might want to explore. The degree also allows you to sit for placements, or take competitive examinations (like GATE for Bsc in Physics and Chemistry). Also, civil services is always an open option.
